Luxury isn’t all about five-star hotels and multi-day spa treatments (although, sure, that’d be nice!). Luxury is also taking a few minutes here and there, every day, to nurture yourself. To breathe, appreciate the moment, and emerge calm and refreshed. That’s what BASK Aromatherapy is all about.

BASK is owned and run by Siobhan, a master in the art of relaxation. As a qualified aromatherapist, Siobhan is passionate about the connection between scent and wellbeing. Her locally made, environmentally-friendly skincare and essential oil products have been bringing a little extra love into homes across the country for several years now.

Siobhan is also passionate about sustainability. To reduce its environmental impact, BASK has partnered with Fifteen Trees to plant a tree for every online order. For Siobhan, wellbeing isn’t just about how good your skin feels – it’s about understanding we are all connected, and that true luxury shouldn’t cost the earth.

BASK’s latest 100 trees were planted at Flowerdale, north-east of Melbourne in the Murrindindi Shire. Just over a decade ago the Flowerdale region was devastated by the Black Saturday fires. This tragedy, on top of the usual land degradation from overuse and insensitive farming practices, has left local Landcare groups and responsible landowners with plenty of work to do. BASK’s trees will help with soil stability, water table cleansing, habitat growth, and more.

True pampering is more than skin deep. It’s a privilege that comes with responsibility. We love to see businesses like BASK who acknowledge the need for balance in all things.

Thank you to Siobhan and the entire team behind BASK for your generous support of our community tree planting projects in Victoria.

Enjoy basking & plant some trees :)
